Surf through it all.

Our program is like no other. We are Canada's first and only surf therapy program dedicated to helping veterans and first responders diagnosed with service related mental health conditions and disabilities. 

Since 2021 we have facilitated several retreats each year, primarily serving  men and women who are medically retired from military service.

Our participants attend retreats at no cost to themselves. Accommodation, meals, and surf lessons with gear are covered. (Transportation is not included but may be reimbursed for some with VAC approval.)

Your emotional and physical safety is our highest priority at all times. Clinical supervision is available 24/7 by a registered psychologist and surf instruction is provided by ISA certified instructors. 

Our retreats allow veterans to experience the kind of lighthearted camaraderie they enjoyed while in the service within a safe, comfortable, and clinically supervised environment. 

Over the last five years our participants have come back time and time again. They have asked for more and contributed to the diversity of our programs. We are  proud to say that Resurface North is not just a program or a service, it is a community of surfers who support one another, in and out of the water, all year round.
